Renovation of a fire / police facility in Kittery, Maine. Working plans call for the renovation of a one-story above grade fire / police facility.
Shortlist Confirmed. The purpose of this invitation for bids is to establish price agreements (labor and materials inclusive) for the for the design/construction of an addition to the Gorges Road Fire Station that will allow for relocation of the ambulance service in town, and provide needed space to support the operation of a full-time career fire service.The project includes the expansion of the garage for 3 box style ambulances in 2 separate garage bays, add living/sleeping space for a minimum of twelve on-duty firefighters, office space for ambulance operations, and an upgrade to the existing kitchen area to meet building code associated with housing firefighters.
