Description

Site work for a water / sewer project in Kittery, Maine. Conceptual plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.

Design-bid-build construction work to perform a required overhaul of the Dry Dock 2 caisson to maintain certification. The project includes caisson seat extension and vertical extension of the existing caisson to provide continuous flood protection from Berth 6 through the caisson to Berth 5. Portions of the work will be performed with the caisson removed from the water. All work supports continued safe and certified operation of Dry Dock 2. magnitude of construction for this project is between $10,000,000 and $25,000,000. Location: Portsmouth Naval Shipyard, 1530 Gilbert Street, Kittery, ME 03904 The Method of Contractor Selection has not been determined at this Time.
