Site work and paving for a civil project in Lewiston, Maine. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and water / sewer project.

The work shall consist of, but not be limited to, the complete and satisfactory construction or installation of: 2,020 LF 6" DI Water Main, 900 LF Domestic Water Services, 3 Hydrants, 91 VF 4' Dia. SMH, 117 LF 4" Solid SDR35 PVC, 104 LF 6" Solid SDR35 PVC, 936 LF 8" Solid SDR35 PVC, 39 LF 10" Solid SDR35 PVC, 130 LF 12" Solid SDR 35 PVC, 1,000 Ton Machine-Placed 19.5mm HMA, 750 Ton Machine-Placed 12.5mm HMA, 150 Ton Hand-Placed Pavement. No proposal will be considered unless it is accompanied by a bid security in the form of a bid bond or certified check in the amount of five percent (5%) of the total bid price, made out in favor of the City of Lewiston. A Performance Bond and a Labor and Material Payment Bond, in an amount equal to the total contract price, will be required of the successful bidder to ensure completion of the work and the proper fulfillment of the conditions of the contract. Question Deadline 07/15/2026 Questions and Requests for Information shall be submitted to Faith Thomas (fthomas@lewistonmaine.gov) Wilson Street Work will include replacing the existing 6" unlined cast-iron main with a new 6" ductile-iron main from Lafayette Street to East Avenue. In addition, the 10" VCP sewer main with be replaced with a new 8" PVC main and sewer manholes. Hamel Street Work will include replacing the existing 6" unlined cast-iron main with a new 6" ductile-iron main from Sabattus Street to Wilson Street. In addition, there will be removal & replacement of several sewer manholes & minor stormdrain work. Demi Circle Work will include replacing the existing 6" lined & unlined cast-iron main with a new 6" ductileiron main from East Avenue to Russell Street. In addition, there will be some minor sewer & stormdrain main work. Bellegarde Avenue Work will include replacing the existing 6" unlined cast-iron main with a new 6" ductile-iron main from Sabattus Street to Russell Street. In addition, there will be some minor sewer main work. Bellegarde Circle Work will include replacing a portion of sewer main, followed by stripping & repaving of the roadway from Bellegarde Avenue to Russell Street. East Avenue Work will include installing sewer manholes at existing dead-end sewer locations, with portion of sewer main replacement.
