Site work and paving for a civil project in Lewiston, Maine. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; and water / sewer project.
**As of September 6, this project has not yet been awarded. It is expected to be awarded on 9/10/18. The work for the CHAPEL STREET SEWER MAIN REPAIR shall consist of, but not be limited to, the complete and satisfactory construction of approximately twenty (20) LF of 15" diameter sanitary sewer, construction of fifteen (15) tons of Hot Mixed Asphalt, and all other incidental work as necessary to satisfactorily complete the project as outlined in the Plans/Specifications. Performance & Payment Bonds are not required. No proposal will be considered unless accompanied by a bid security in the form of a bid bond or certified check in the amount of the total bid price, made out in favor of the City of Lewiston. Personal and business checks will not be accepted. The Contractor shall furnish proof of coverage with adequate insurance of the types and to the limits specified in the bid specifications naming the City of Lewiston as additional insured. Certificate of such insurance shall be filed with the Purchasing Agent for his/her approval before permission to commence work will be granted. Faxed and E-mailed proposals will not be considered.
