Demolition, site work, renovation and addition to a mixed-use development in Poland, Maine. Completed plans call for the addition of a 13,200-square-foot educational facility; and for the renovation of a 10,000-square-foot educational facility.
Brief Job Description: The Project consists of approximately 10,000 SF of renovations and 13,200 SF of addition to the (combined) Poland High School and Middle School in Poland, ME. Only prequalified General Contractors are allowed to bid on this project. Proposals must be accompanied by certified cashiers check for 5% of the proposal, or a satisfactory bid bond in a similar amount. The owner reserves the right to waive all formalities, and reject any and all proposals, or to accept any proposal. Proposals shall be submitted upon the letterhead of the bidder. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a 100% contract performance bond and a 100% contract payment bond to cover the execution of the work which shall be in conformity with the form of bonds contained in Section 2-C of the specifications and for the contract amount. Any proposal that contains an escalation clause is invalid. Documents will be available on 01/09/2019
