Site work and paving for a road / highway in Presque Isle, Maine. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway.
The City of Presque Isle is seeking bids from qualified individuals and firms for road grading services on City-owned unpaved roads. Services are to be performed 2-3 times in 2026 and may consist of spring grading, intermediate grading, and fall grading, each in consultation with the Public Works Director or designee based on conditions. All bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope clearly marked 'GRADING ROADS' and received at the City Clerk's office at 12 Second Street, Presque Isle, Maine 04769. Bids will be opened and read aloud in public, with final award expected to be made by the City Manager and/or City Council, whose decision will be final. Bidders are welcome to attend the bid opening and City Council meeting. Any questions pertaining to this bid shall be directed to Public Works Director Nathan Bond at (207) 760-2560 or nbond@presqueisleme.us Final award of the bid is expected to be made on or about May 6, 2026 by the City Manager and/or City Council.
