A. The Work of Project is defined by the Contract Documents and consists of the following 1. The Project consists of the removal of existing steam boiler plant and kitchen make up air unit in the first floor boiler room of Kelley Commons. A new condensing hot water boiler plant shall be installed in the boiler room to serve both Kelley Commons and the Campus Center buildings. Scope shall include removal of existing steam and condensate piping and installation of new hot water supply and return branches. As part of the installation existing electrical power shall be removed and new panels, conductors, conduit, breakers, and disconnects shall be installed as shown in the drawings. A new gas fired roof mounted kitchen make up air unit shall be installed to serve the existing kitchen. Existing underground oilstorage tank and piping shall be removed for the installation of an underground propane storage tank, liquid propane pumps, and vaporizer and other site improvements in the vicinity. Project shall include removal of pneumatic controls serving systems mentioned above and connect all new equipment and systems to new open DDC control system with user interface and remote capabilities, and other periphery Work indicated in the Contract Documents.
