**As of March 31, 2023, project was awarded, no start date and end date** The Town of Rockport, Maine is requesting proposals for replacement of hardwood flooring in the auditorium and green room and hallway, and the repair or replacement of sheetrock and insulation that has been removed due to extensive water damage. Project Description: The Opera House is over 125 years old. In late December, we had an extensive sprinkler leak in the auditorium area of the building, it leaked for roughly three days. The damage extends through both operational floors of the building. The Town hired ServPro to assess the building and remove the wet material, sheetrock and insulation where necessary. The Town is seeking a General Contractor to come in and replace the flooring in the auditorium, green room and applicable hallways. The flooring removed from the Auditorium was maple hardwood but we would explore flooring options which can stand up to the needs of the facility from a maintenance and upkeep perspective. ServPro is in the midst of removing damaged sheetrock and insulation, so the full extent of work is still to be determined. Please include one original of proposals submitted.
