York County Community College is seeking a qualified vendor to provide an Emergency Alert and Mass Notification System at its Sanford location. The contractor will be responsible for system design, equipment, installation, integration, testing, and documentation. The college is not specifying a particular manufacturer or system type, but vendors must propose a complete, turnkey solution. The contractor must design a system that provides reliable emergency communication across campus, furnish all necessary equipment and materials, install and integrate all system components, test and commission the system, and provide basic documentation and training. The system must include speakers, visual alert capability, and central control equipment, and all equipment and materials required for a complete and functional system must be included. All installation work must comply with applicable codes and standards. Proposals must include a brief description of the proposed system, a list of major system components, and quantities of key devices, including speakers and control equipment.
