Includes existing paved shoulders (175 tons). Map #2 is in China on Alder Park Road beginning at Route 3 and extending north 1.76 miles to Route 202. Includes existing paved shoulders (10 tons) Map #3 is in Freedom & Palermo on North Palermo Road beginning at Branch Mills Road and extending north 11.12 miles to Route 137. Includes existing paved shoulders (25 tons). Bridge Milling- Bridge #5145. Map #4 is in Albion & Winslow on Winslow Road & Albion Road Road beginning at Garland Road and extending east 7.53 miles to Benton Road. Includes existing paved shoulders (10 tons). Bridge Milling - Bridge #3938 & #5713. Map #5 is in Albion & Benton on Benton Road & Albion Road beginning at the Falls Road and extending east 7.04 miles to Route 137. Includes existing paved shoulders (50 tons). Map #6 is in Palermo on Branch Mills Road beginning at Route 3 and extending north 0.91 of a mile. Includes existing paved shoulders (50 tons). Map #7 is in Freedom & Knox on Route 137 beginning at Route 220 and extending southwest 3.04 miles. Includes existing paved shoulders (500 tons). Bridge Milling- Bridge #2585. Map #8 is in Freedom & Montville on Freedom Pond Road, Pleasant Street & High Street beginning Route 220 and extending north 1.95 miles to Route 137. Map #9 is in Albion on South Freedom Road beginning at the Freedom town line and extending northwest 4.15 miles to the Unity Road. Includes existing paved shoulders (75 tons). Map #10 is in Freedom on Albion Road beginning at the Albion town line and extending southeast 0.60 of a mile to North Palermo Road. Map #11 is in Morrill on Higgins Hill Road beginning at Route 3 and extending northeast 2.37 miles to Route 131. Map #12 is in Benton on Route 139 beginning at Falls Road and extending northwest 0.24 of a mile to Route 11. Includes existing paved shoulders (75 tons). Each Bid must be made upon blank forms provided by the Department and must be accompanied by a bid bond at 5% of the bid amount or an official bank check, cashier's check, certified check, certificate of deposit, or United States postal money order in the amount of 5% of the bid amount, payable to Treasurer, State of Maine as a Bid guarantee. A Contract Performance Surety Bond and a Contract Payment Surety Bond, each in the amount of 100 percent of the Contract price, will be required of the successful Bidder. This Contract is subject to all applicable Federal Laws. The right is hereby reserved to the Maine DOT to reject any or all bids. ME DOT - Light Capital Paving - Albion Area LCP Hot Mix Asphalt: The quantity of hot mix asphalt will be determined from the quantity shown on the progress estimate for each pay period. Base Price: The base price of diesel fuel to be used is the price per gallon current with the bid opening date. This price is determined by using the weekly retail diesel price for the New England area, as listed on the Energy Information Administration's webpage. Period Price: The period price of diesel fuel will be determined by the Department by using the weekly retail diesel price for the New England area, as listed on the Energy Information Administration's webpage current with the pay period ending date of the progress estimate.
