2022 Local Paving Projects, Contract C - Roadway Reconstruction, Waterville, ME Location: In Kennebec County, project is located on Carey Court, Lockwood Alley, Swan Street, Veterans Court and King Street in Waterville, Maine. Outline of Work: The project involves full depth road reconstruction on several existing streets, including removal of existing pavement and subbase gravels, supply and installation of new subbase gravels to the depths shown on the contract documents, grading, compacting, supply and installation of bituminous paving to the depths shown on the contract documents, sidewalk reconstruction including installation of new subbase gravels, installation of bituminous curbing, and paving meeting all ADA requirements, site restoration, and other items as described in the contract drawings and specifications. Drainage utilities located within the paving limits will also be replaced as part of this project, including pipes, catch basins, and drain manholes. Each Bid must be made upon blank forms provided by the City and must be accompanied by a bid bond at 5% of the bid amount or an official bank check, cashier's check, certified check, certificate of deposit, or United States postal money order payable to Municipality of Rangeley as a Bid Guarantee. A Contract Performance Surety Bond and a Contract Payment Surety Bond, each for 100 percent of the Contract price, will be required of the successful Bidder.
