Site work and paving for a road / highway in Wells, Maine. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
SCOPE OF WORK 1. Crush existing material to a usable product. Material size 1 1/2 minus. 2. The estimated volume of existing material is unknown. Bidders should develop their own quantity estimate for bidding. The piles may contain various types of steel and the use of a magnet to remove the steel would be preferred. The Town of Wells reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids and to accept the bid providing the most advantageous outcome for the Town, as determined by the Public Works Department and Town Manager and approved by the Board of Selectmen If there are any questions, please contact Public Works Deputy Director, Paula Green, at 207-646-3014. Bids will be awarded on May 17, 2022, at the regularly scheduled Board of Selectmen's meeting which begins at 6:00 p.m.
