Town of Newfield, Maine will receive sealed Bids for the construction of a sand/salt storage building, in accordance with the Invitation to Bid, Bid Form Agreement, General Conditions, Supplementary Conditions, Specifications, and Drawings. The work shall consist of the following; excavation and backfill, drainage, paving, foundation, lighting and electrical service, and construction of a 70-foot by 108-foot laminated wood arch building to contain approximately 3,800 cubic yards of material on Town owned property located at 369 Water Street, West Newfield, Maine. No Bid may be withdrawn for at least 60 days after receipt of Bids unless released by the Owner. Bids submitted without Bid Security and completed certification forms will not be considered. The Contractor shall guarantee all materials and equipment furnished and work performed for a period of one year from the date of substantial completion. The Performance Bond shall remain in full force and in effect through the guarantee period. The Town of Newfield, Maine reserves the right to reject any or all Bids or to accept any Bid that it may deem to be in its best interests, as Owner, to accept.
