The Selectmen reserve the right to accept or reject any or all bids for any reason or for no reason as they deem to be in the best interest of the Town. *The list of planholders and/or interested bidders is not being tracked by the stakeholders involved with this project. The work shall consist of constructing a Hot Mix Asphalt Pavement using designated mix types for the roadways as proposed in Section I. All work shall be constructed as outlined in this specification and as directed by the Municipal Representative. Reclamation of existing pavement to 2-inch minus, rough and fine grading prior to paving is part of this project with paying special attention not to damage culverts. On the West Paris end of Ellingwood Road, it is on the right hand side of Tuelltown Road. The area needing work is 0.9 miles (West Paris side of Ellingwood Road and the intersection of Ellingwood Road/Tuelltown Road). The intersection should be 50 feet from the center of the apron out. Reclaim the existing pavement, rough grade and compact to proper density in the project area 1. Fine grade project area and compact to proper grade and slope. 2. Furnish and install hot asphalt mix compacted to 3.0" (2 inch base and 1 inch surface)
