Renovation of a residential development in East Liverpool, Ohio. Completed plans call for the renovation of a residential development.
The Project consists of the PHASE-1 SIDING, SOFFIT, FASCIA, GUTTER & DOWNSPOUT REPLACEMENT at Woodland Hills Apartments in East Liverpool, OH for the Columbiana Metropolitan Housing Authority. All Work of this project is to be bid under one prime contract. Work incorporated, but not limited to this contract, is as follows: 1. Provide demolition and new work as shown on Drawings and specified herein. 2. Provide all miscellaneous related General and miscellaneous work as shown and described in the Contract Documents. A certified check or bank draft, payable to Columbiana Metropolitan Housing Authority, US Government Bonds or a satisfactory Bid Bond executed by the Bidder and acceptable sureties in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the bid, shall be submitted with each bid. The successful Bidder will be required to furnish and pay for satisfactory Performance and Payment Bonds. TIME COMPLETION: One Hundred Twenty (120) Consecutive Calendar Days 100% Performance Bond and 100% Labor & Material Payment Bond are required paid by the Contractor. Time of Completion and Liquidated Damages: Bidder must agree to commence work on or before a date to be specified in a written "Notice to Proceed" of the Owner and to fully complete the projects within ONE HUNDRED TWENTY (120) CONSECUTIVE CALENDAR DAYS. Bidder must agree also to pay as liquidated damages, the sum of $100.00 for each consecutive calendar day of delay in achieving final completion. The Columbiana Metropolitan Housing Authority reserves the right to reject any and all bids or waive any informality in the bidding. No bid shall be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days subsequent to the opening of said bids
