Golden Towers is a five (5) Story, 89-unit apartment building with community and common areas on the first floor. The proposed remodel Project is on ground, first floor level. Install (2) dumpster enclosures at Golden Towers Apartments (804 N Boggs Ave, Grand Island Ne). Projected scope includes brick or block enclosures with steel gates, and concrete drive approaches for garbage removal. interested parties may submit proposals for one or both projects. All Federal, state, and local regulatory requirements will be applicable Remove existing salon wash bowls and related plumbing. Finish block wall cut edges Finished drywall on bump outs Paint all interior walls and ceiling Possible drop ceiling for utility access. Seal off nonfunctional wall vent on south wall. Patch concrete floor after sewer installation. Recover entire floor area (Possible epoxy floor coating or Ivp). Replace 15 V2 ft by 20 inch area on south wall with windows or glass block, (existing area is currently framed drywall with exterior vinyl siding. Open 2 specified areas on non-structural block wall, approximately 48" wide. Build bump outs and/or utility chases as required on the north interior wall and center dividing wall. o Doors Install 2 interior ADA compliant fire rated doors. Install 1 exterior ADA compliant door. (All doors must include automatic openers for handicap accessibility) Plumbing Install water service (hot and cold potable water) to 7 clothes washers. Tie into water supplies from boiler/utility room (Approximately 80 ft run). Install adequate sewer and drains for 7 clothes washers. Requires opening concrete floor approximately 30 ft to existing 4" sewer line Install adequate exhaust vent lines for 7 clothes dyers. Extend each vent up approximately 7ft to exit north side of building
