Description

Site work for a mixed-use development in Midland, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a swimming pool.

The scope of work includes the installation of main pool filters, manifold piping for main pool filters, main pool flow meter, main pool automated chemical system and feed lines, small pool filters, small pool automated chemical system and feed lines, small pool flow meter, electrical improvements, and all necessary appurtenances and restoration for said construction. Any technical questions regarding the bid documents are to be directed to LSSE. The project is being financed by a grant from the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, Commonwealth Financing Authority (CFA). Bidders must agree to comply with all requirements associated with these funding programs. Pennsylvania prevailing wage rates apply. Proposals must be upon the forms furnished by the Borough. The bid must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the bid, made payable to the Borough of Midland to guarantee the bidder's entrance into the contract if given the award. The Borough reserves the right to reiect any or all proposals and to waive any informalities in the bidding. No bid may be withdrawn for ninety (90) calendar days after the scheduled time for receipt of bids. Attention is directed to the fact that procurement is subject to all requirements of the Pennsylvania "Steel Products Procurement Act, Act No. 1978-3"; and for Contract value exceeding $25,000, the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act (Act of 1961 P.L. 987), and The Public Works Employment Verification Act (July 2012) apply.
