Site work, paving, new construction, renovation and addition to a mixed-use development in Los Angeles, California. Working plans call for the addition of a 340,000-square-foot, one-story above grade conference / convention center; and for the renovation of a 1,500,000-square-foot, three-story above grade, two-story below grade conference / convention center.
Description: add 190,000 sf of exhibition space, 55,000 sf of meeting room space, 95,000 sf of multipurpose space and a new lobby. The pedestrian bridge between the J.W. Marriott hotel complex and the Convention Center and the renovation of Gilbert Lindsay Plaza is no longer included in this project. As of December 2, 2025, it was announced that the Los Angeles City Council has officially approved the L.A. Convention Center Expansion and Modernization Project. Following the groundbreaking ceremony held on October 1, 2025, construction is now set to commence.
