This is a multi-provider Agreement. The Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, parts, and equipment necessary to provide emergency and/or routine Weed Abatement services for safety and aesthetic reasons along Caltrans right of ways, roadsides and fence lines: Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, parts, travel and equipment necessary to provide on call, as needed, emergency and/or routine Weed Abatement services for Caltrans-owned properties on residential and commercial properties located in Los Angeles and Ventura Counties for health and safety reasons and to abide with Fire Codes enforcement along Caltrans right of ways, roadsides and fence lines. Locations of services to be performed include various Caltrans-owned residential lots and commercial properties, both leased and vacant, located in Los Angeles and Ventura Counties, including the Route-710 corridor covering parts of City of Pasadena, City of South Pasadena and the El Sereno portion of Los Angeles. Certified SBs, Micro Businesses (MB) are encouraged to submit bids. See Section D, Special Programs, Item 1, in this IFB for requirements. A Disabled Veteran Business Enterprise (DVBE) goal is not required, but DVBE participation is encouraged, and a DVBE incentive may apply to this IFB. Caltrans reserves the right to reject all bids for reasonable cause.
