Site work, renovation and addition to an educational facility in La Crescent, Minnesota. Completed plans call for the addition of a 80,000-square-foot, two-story above grade educational facility; for the renovation of a educational facility; and for site work for a educational facility.

As of February 18, 2021, project is underway. All trades are let. In general, the Project consists of 2 story additions to existing building totaling 80,000 sq feet. Work includes demolition of south, southwest and adjacent small wings of the existing building. The remaining classroom wing will be renovated, including removal of non-load bearing cmu classroom walls and window openings between structural piers at exterior. Renovation of existing gym includes floor, bleacher and basketball hoop removal then new storage rooms, poured gym floor and new hoops. New construction consists of masonry cavity wall, cold form framing cavity walls, face brick, stone veneer, metal panel, EPDM roof system, metal deck, bar joist, concrete plank, significant ramp and stair system with decorative rail, hydraulic elevator, storefront, curtainwall, interior CMU and stud/gypsum board walls; finishes include carpet, resilient flooring, wood gym floor and gymnasium equipment. Fire suppression, plumbing, HVAC and electrical systems. Civil work includes new parking paving, sidewalks and playground area A corresponding project at the Districts Middle/High school will be bidding several days before this project. Contractors will have the opportunity to present a combined bid on the bid form of this project. BID SECURITY in the amount of five percent of the maximum amount of the Bid must accompany each Bid as described in the Instructions to Bidders in the Project Manual. The Owner reserves the right to waive irregularities and to reject any or all Bids. No Bid may be withdrawn until 60 days after the time stated for receipt of Bids
