Site work, paving and new construction of a mixed-use development in Lake Charles, Louisiana. Completed plans call for the construction of a 9,765-square-foot transportation facility; for site work for a transportation facility; sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.
Project consists of: new construction of a 9,765 sq. ft. Air Cargo building (pre-engineered steel) with a loading dock, aircraft ramp and paved parking/driveway areas with all required finishes, civil work, utilities, mechanical and electrical systems. Work consist of 3 phases: 1. Phase One: a. Install temporary driveway to support construction activities as indicated on drawings. b. Civil work including subgrade preparation and the construction of the new drainage system (rough grading for ditches, piping and drainage structures) and retention area. Contractor shall ensure that proper drainage is established prior to proceeding with the Earth Work for the foundations of the new paving and building. c. Install temporary Fencing. 2. Phase Two: a. Site Utility installations and relocations. b. New Fence installation c. Install Parking/Driveway areas, loading dock and Building foundation. d. Install aircraft apron area paving. e. Erect Metal building structure. 3. Phase Three: a. Finish out building interior including electrical and mechanical Work. b. Final Grading, seeding & finished swale installation. c. Removal of temporary facilities. B. Before commencing Work of each phase, submit an updated copy of Contractor's construction schedule
