Site work and new construction of a mixed-use development in Regina, Saskatchewan. Conceptual plans call for the construction of a multi-residential development; and retail development.

Construction of residential, commercial and retail buildings on 17.5 acres of Canadian Pacific Railway land along Dewdney Avenue. Draft recommended scope includes the following: 1,200 residential units; mid-rise, mixed-use buildings on Dewdney Ave; grocery store and small-scale commercial amenities; high-density residential on southern edge; multi-purpose market building; mixed office and institutional building. TIMELINE: Project is in early planning stages. An RFP from developers has been issued by the owner. The intention is to solicit concepts and interest from the private sector for development. The successful Developer will propose and execute a comprehensive strategy for the complete development of the Railyard Site. *A portion of the City's share of costs for development of the Railyard Site is supported by NBCF-PTIC Agreement. The NBCF-PTIC Agreement allows the City to receive funding for up to $5.5 million of eligible expense.
