Unless otherwise indicated in the Supplemental Conditions or Plans, these General Conditions shall govern all Work performed under the Contract with the City of Elk Grove. In any case for which no provisions are provided in these General Conditions, the appropriate provision or provisions of the State Standard Specifications shall apply. Where the Contract Documents describe portions of the Work in general terms, but not in complete detail, it is understood that only the best industry practice is to prevail and that only materials and workmanship of the first quality are to be used. Unless otherwise specified, the Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, tools, equipment and incidentals and do all the work involved in performing the Contract in a satisfactory and workmanlike manner. The Technical Specifications are presented in sections for convenience. However, this presentation does not necessarily delineate trades or limits of responsibility. All parts and sections of the Contract Documents are interdependent and applicable to the Project as a whole. The Contract Documents are complementary, and what is called for in any one shall be as binding as if called for in all. Anything shown on the Plans and not mentioned in the Technical Specifications or mentioned in the Technical Specifications and not shown on the Plans shall have the same effect as if shown or mentioned respectively in both. Any Work shown on one Plan sheet shall be construed to be shown in all Plan sheets and the Contractor shall coordinate the Work and the Plans.
