The description and location of the project is as follows: This Project is for widening and overlay of US 1 from the end of the Kennett Bypass (Station 6+90) to the Longwood Gardens overpass (Station 320+30). The project includes 3000' of widening on US 1 NB and 2400' of widening on US 1 SB and mill and overlay of both sides of US 1 within the work area specified, 100' of new sidewalk adjacent to US 1 SB, US 1 SB widening at the intersection with Schoolhouse Lane, widening on US 1 NB at the intersection of Bayard Ave, construction of 54 inlets, 5400' of pipe construction as well as upgrades to the five signalized intersections within the corridor and other miscellaneous work as indicated on the approved drawings included in this bid package in Chester County, Pennsylvania.
