Site work and renovation of a water / sewer project in Christmas, Florida. Design plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
This project includes chemical system upgrades, a redundant finished flow system and new pump station at the Dyal Plant. Replacement of two existing back up power generators with same sized generators at the Dyal WTP. Location will be in a new building; Conversion to NaOCL and Liq NH3; (Reference: 2013 Water Capital Plan Project WT50 Emergency Generator Replacement; WT09 Conversion to NaOCl and Liq NH3; WT25 Redundant Finished Flow Pipe and Pit; New Pump Station). Includes SCADA Design programming for PLC and HMI systems to support the project. As ofApril 16, 2019, this project is included in the FY 2018-2022 City of Cocoa CIP. A design engineering has been identified. Information regarding contractor selection has not been disclosed. Construction was initially planned to begin in the late summer or early fall of 2019 and be complete by 2020; however, this project is currently on hold and a timeline has not been established. Funding is programmed in the CIP for FY 2018 through FY 2020.* *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP). A CIP is a financial schedule for short- and long-range projects which is updated regularly.
