The City of Cocoa's Claude H. Dyal Water Treatment Plant is soliciting competitive bids for safe demolition and removal of an existing steel lime sludge mixing tank, that is not in use, that has tested positive for lead paint and all associated equipment and appurtenances located at 28400 SR 520, Christmas, Fl 32709. Lead Paint abatement must be adhered to during the course of the demolition. Demolition of all mechanical equipment, electrical equipment, instrumentation, and piping; c. Demolition of underground facilities including pipes and conduits; d. Demolition work shall be performed in accordance with applicable federal, state and local regulations including, but not limited to, 29 CFR 1926 Subpart T and 40 CFR 61 Subpart M. Testing has confirmed the presence of lead paint on the steel lime sludge mixing tank, the stairwell, and some of the exposed piping; e.
