Saving Project...

Site work and renovation of a water / sewer project in Austin, Texas. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.

The objective of this project is to convert the City of Austin's (City's) existing chlorine process at the A. H. Ullrich WTP to on-site generation and use of sodium hypochlorite. The City of Austin, through its Capital Contracting Office, is requesting Statements of Qualifications (SOQs) for the selection of engineering services for the above-noted project. The selected Consultant shall review the Preliminary Engineering Report (PER) developed in the first phase of the project and develop a Basis of Design to confirm the selected Consultant and the City agree to move forward with the selected alternatives identified in the PER. The selected Consultant shall perform detailed design and develop construction documents that shall achieve the option the City has selected. Flow pacing of the disinfection process with limited to no need for manual operation/interaction in the field or at the top end control system is an additional goal of this project. Services are anticipated to include Design Services, Bid Phase Services, Construction and post Construction Phase Service. WBE: 15.80%
