BIDS ARE INVITED ON A LUMP SUM BASIS FOR THE FOLLOWING CONTRACTS: Contract 1 General Construction ($38 - $44 million) Contract 2 Sitework Construction ($6 -$8 million) Contract 3 Plumbing Site Utility Construction ($900 thousand - $1.2 million) Contract 4 Casework Construction ($900 thousand - $1.2 million) Contract 5 Food Service Equipment Construction ($900 thousand - $1 million) Contract 6 Fire Protection Construction ($900 thousand - $1.2 million) Contract 7 Plumbing Construction ($3 - $4 million) Contract 8 HVAC Construction ($9 - $11 million) Contract 9 Electrical Construction ($8 - $10 million) PROJECT DESCRIPTION The project consists of building a new 298,000 sqft high school including all plumbing, electrical, HVAC, fire protection and technology systems; and all related sitework, including athletic fields, parking lots/drives and utility services. This construction will occur in an old (now abandoned) golf course. The site will be shared with the township with their future construction project provided in the eastern end of the golf course. There will be a shared road built which is also not part of the current construction bidding. That shared road will be constructed by the time the new school is completed. There will be offsite road and utility improvements required that are also not part of this construction project. There will be a need for coordination of construction activities among the three separate construction projects that during some of the later phases of construction, will be occurring on this site at the same time.
