Site work for a water / sewer project in San Marcos, Texas. Working plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Construct 7000 LF of new 12" line in Staples Road from existing 12" water line at Lago Vista to Old Bastrop Road. Within the project limits, we will swap Crystal Clear Water Supply Corporation customers into our CCN. This project is required per the City's agreement with Crystal Clear to swap portions of CCN's and to strengthen the City's water supply. Intersection safety improvements and sidewalks at DeZavala and Staples Road. As of July 31 2024, this project's design is complete. It will not be bid—it will be constructed by a private developer. A firm timeline has not been established. It is currently in the FY 2022-2031 CIP *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP). A CIP is a financial schedule for short- and long-range projects which is updated regularly. Information listed in the CIP often evolves based on funding availability and the project details, including timeline and value, are subject to change. The content management team will continue to pursue additional details as they become available.
