Site work and paving for a civil project in Port Angeles, Washington. Conceptual plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; and water / sewer project.
Reconstruction of Liberty Street from 5th Street to Lauridsen Blvd to correct structural failure of the roadway. Replace base, asphalt, and update drainage. A traffic circle will be evaluated for the 6th and Liberty intersection to improve traffic safety. This project will coordinate with project WT0111 - Liberty Watermain replacement. As of July 2, 2024, this project is included in the City of Port Angeles' FY 2024-2029 Budget CIP. A design firm has not yet been selected. Funding is allotted for 2025. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP). A CIP is a financial schedule for short- and long-range projects which is updated regularly. Information listed in the CIP often evolves based on funding availability and the project details, including timeline and value, are subject to change. The content management team will continue to pursue additional details as they become available.
