The vacant property to be purchased for the new station is located at 61-65 West Main St. The construction site also includes a small home at 10 Monroe St., for a total of 3.97 acres. The town will be able to reuse or sell the current station. A timeline for construction has not been determined. The Town of Northborough, is seeking the services of a qualified "Owner's Project Manager" as defined in M.G.L. c. 149, 44A 1/2 and as further defined by the provisions of this RFQ, to retain the services of an Owner's Project Manager (OPM) to oversee the design and bidding/construction of a new Fire Station. The OPM will be the principal agent in providing project management services for the duration of the Fire Station Building Project in Northborough, Massachusetts . The Owner is requesting the services of an Owner's Project Manager to represent the Owner during the design development, construction documents, bid and award, construction, and final closeout of the project. A RFQ for architectural services will be released in the fall of 2022.
