Site work and new construction of an educational facility in Laramie, Wyoming. Completed plans call for the construction of a 63,096-square-foot educational facility; and for site work for a educational facility.
1. The work consists of a new 63,096 square foot school serving grades K through 5 in Laramie, Wyoming. The new school has a maximum design capacity of 448 students. The school will be constructed on the existing Laramie High School Site, with demolition of the High School taking place before new construction begins. The design features three distinct classroom wings, each with pull-out academic space and distributed media areas. The central common area includes special areas such as the art room, music room and 3d science lab. The gymnasium, formerly a part of the existing Laramie High School, is to remain and be reused. 2. The total developed site size for the project is 9-acres. Site development includes playgrounds, playfields, distinct parent and bus drop-off loops and adequate visitor and staff parking. Bus traffic will remain on the north side of the site, off Reynolds Street, with parent drop-off and visitor located to the south. Staff parking will be located to the east of the existing gymnasium. Addendum #1-#4 have been issued.
