Description

Site work and new construction of a fire / police facility in Grand Chute, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for the construction of a fire / police facility.

The project includes design of the ARFF building and control center with fire truck storage on the first floor and electrical fire control on the second floor; site design for a specialized aircraft fire training area including underground liquid propane fuel distribution system; a maneuvering pad for fire trucks and a small parking area. This facility will provide training for Midwest area airport firefighters and first responders for completion of their FAA-required training program. As of November 8, 2019, the project is under construction. Vinton Construction was contracted to perform civil and construction work. Kirila Fire was contracted to design/build the specialized aircraft fire training area.
