Demolition, site work, paving and new construction of a bridge / tunnel in Tredyffrin, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for the demolition of a bridge / tunnel; for the construction of a bridge / tunnel; for site work for a bridge / tunnel; and for paving for a bridge / tunnel.

**The anticipated completion date is by the end of 2020.** Tredyffrin Township will receive bids from qualified contractors for the Howellville Road Bridge Replacement over Norfolk Southern Project. Each Bid must be submitted accompanied by a Bid Guaranty in the amount of Ten Percent (10%) of the total amount Bid. The Bid Guarantee must be in the form of Cash, Corporate Bid Bond, Bank Check, Cashiers Check or Treasurers Check, drawn to the order of Tredyffrin Township The proceeds thereof will be retained by Tredyffrin Township as liquidated damages if the successful bidder fails to execute this Contract as set forth in the attached Proposal, General Conditions, Special Provisions, Construction Drawings, and Specifications. A bidders personal check or noncertified corporate check is not an acceptable form of bid security. The surety firm must be licensed to do business in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. A copy of the bid guarantee must be scanned and submitted electronically All workmen performing work on this project shall be paid the general minimum Prevailing Wage Rates supplied herein, as determined by the Secretary of the Pennsylvania Department of Labor and Industry, in accordance with the Regulations for Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act Tredyffrin Township reserves the right to reject any and all bids or parts thereof and to determine whether the quality and type of equipment and/or service to be furnished meet the requirements for which it was intended. In the best interests of the Township, the Board of Supervisors further reserve the right to insist or waive any technicalities required and to consider competency and responsibility of the bidder before the award of the Contract, and award it accordingly.
