Demolition, site work and renovation of a municipal facility in Fountain Valley, California. Completed plans call for site work for a municipal facility; for the renovation of a municipal facility; and for the demolition of a four-story above grade municipal facility.

Project is located at Bandilier Circle and Ellis Avenue, Fountain Valley, CA 92708. The Work consists of demolishing four commercial, single-story buildings located between Bandilier Circle and Pacific Street, including the associated utilities and foundation. The Work also includes City of Fountain Valley permit coordination, hazardous material abatement, utility demolition and coordination, site grading, and stormwater management and documentation OCSD will not provide personal protective equipment to attendees. Attendees are required to wear long pants, long or short sleeved shirts (no tank tops), and all the listed personal protective equipment that meets the following criteria:o Enclosed Safety Toed Shoes must meet ASTM F2413. OCSD recently adopted more stringent standards regarding the Bidders' and Subcontractors' accident frequency and worker's compensation experience modification factors. Each Bid Security will be held until an award is made. A Performance Bond and a Payment Bond are required concurrently with the execution of the Contract and shall remain in effect through the warranty period at 100% of the Contract value. The Payment Bond is to be executed in the name of the Surety insurer under penalty of perjury duly acknowledged before an officer authorized to take and certify acknowledgements and either one of the conditions listed in the Instructions to Bidders must be satisfied. Pursuant to California Public Contract Code Section 22300, the CONTRACTOR will be entitled to post approved securities with OCSD or an approved financial institution in order to have OCSD release funds retained by OCSD to ensure performance of the Contract.
