Demolition, site work and new construction of a transportation facility in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia. Conceptual plans call for the demolition of a transportation facility; and for the construction of a 510,000-square-foot, two-story above grade transportation facility.
Replacement and expansion of the Burnside Transit Centre which will consist of phased demolition and construction of a new two-storey facility. The new facility will be net-zero. Method of delivery may be Progressive Design-Build. TIMELINE: Request for Proposals for pre-design services has been awarded. Final deliverables are expected in October 2026. Further project details and timelines may be confirmed late 2026/2027. *Construction cost to be finalized.
