Site work and new construction of a mixed-use development in Brantford, Ontario. Conceptual plans call for the construction of a 101,205-square-foot, four-story above grade, one-story below grade multi-residential development; for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; and retail development.

Construction of a residential and commercial development. The project will include redevelopment of the fire-damaged Verity building for construction of an apartment complex, the Canal lofts; construction of a new mixed-use building with apartment space and commercial space called the Spur Line Terrace; and construction of a new apartment building called Garden Court apartments. The project will also include construction of townhouses, and site development for construction of a community park, pedestrian bridges, and a trail where the Toronto, Hamilton, Buffalo (TH&B) railway spur line runs now. The project will also involve demolition of existing buildings on the site. Site address - 22, 66 Mohawk Street and 347 Greenwich Street. Building 1B - 347 Greenwich St - is four storeys with an approximate building footprint of 12,600 ft2. The total approximate floor area is 50,400 ft2. Building 2 - 347 Greenwich St - is a three-storey building with portions damaged by fire. The approximate building footprint is 8,960 ft2. The total approximate floor area is 26,880 ft2. Building 3A - 347 Greenwich St - is a three-storey building with portions damaged by fire. The approximate building footprint is 7,975 ft2. The total approximate floor area is 23,925 ft2. Building 1-2 - 66 Mohawk St - Building 1 is the "office" and Building 2 (contiguous with Building 1 through interior) is the "warehouse". Building 1 is designated as having architectural and historical value or interest. The building is a three-storey structure with basement. TIMELINE: Project is conceptual. Next steps include draft plan of subdivision approvals, the development of an implementation strategy, and securing funding; timelines to proceed have not yet been finalized. Further update may be available fall 2025. Budget is undefined.
