Demolition, site work, new construction and renovation of a medical facility in Edmonton, Alberta. Completed plans call for the construction of a 430,556-square-foot, seven-story above grade, 234-bed medical facility; for the renovation of a medical facility; for the demolition of a two-unit medical facility; and for site work for a medical facility.
Redevelopment of the Norwood-Glenrose Long Term Care Facility for a new 5-7 storey facility with 234 enhanced continuing care beds. Scope of work includes renovations of the existing Angus McGugan Pavilion to accommodate 116 palliative care beds; and demolition of the existing North Pavilion and CHOICE program buildings. This will be a fast-track project, with multiple tender packages. Project is located at the Glenrose Rehabilitation Site. TIMELINE: Sub trade packages have been issued under separate reports by the same name. Construction of the new building is expected to be completed by 2022. Redevelopment of the Angus McGugan Pavilion will be completed in 2023. Value listed reflects the approved construction budget for this project. Construction contract value is unreleased.
