Site work for a mixed-use development in Oshawa, Ontario. Working plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; road / highway; and transportation facility.

Construction of 18.7 km of rail line from Oshawa East to Bowmanville, using either CN or CP corridors for the extension. Project includes construction 7 new bridges: Highway 401, GM Spur, Oshawa Creek, Wilson Rd, Harmony Creek, Farewell Creek and Green Rd; 2 bridge replacements (Simcoe St and Ritson Rd); 1 bridge removal at Albert St; 5 bridge expansions: Durham College Oshawa GO (pedestrian bridge), Stevenson Rd, Park Rd, Harmony Rd, and Courtice Rd. Widening of ten at-grade crossings to accommodate GO track(s): Bloor St East, Prestonvale Rd, Private crossing at Doms Auto Parts, Trulls Rd, Baseline Rd (2 locations), Rundle Rd, Holt Rd, Private crossing west of Maple Grove Rd, and Maple Grove Rd. Project will also include the construction of 2 new GO stations to be built in Oshawa (on Thornton Road and on Ritson Road), 1 in Courtice (on Courtice Road) and 1 in Bowmanville (on Martin Road). The existing Oshawa GO station would remain open. The preferred route includes 4 proposed GO stations: Thorntons Corners East, Ritson, Courtice and Bowmanville on the route that uses the Canadian Pacific (CP) Railway existing alignment north of highway 401 through to Bowmanville. TIMELINE: Project is in the developmental Phase, where the Construction Managers are refining the design while preparing for the next steps. The intent is to move to the construction phase once this has been completed. Bowmanville Construction Partners (BCP), is a partnership between Ledcor CMI Ltd. and Dragados Canada Inc., has been awarded an early-stage contract to advance infrastructure planning on the extension.
