The University of Ontario Institution of Technology is seeking proposals for the supply, install and commissioning of a high-capacity Electric Vehicle DC fast-charger and accompanying hardware / software to allow Electric Vehicle fast charging capabilities within the Climatic Wind Tunnel ("CWT"). The vision is to start with a minimum 350kW DC fast-charger solution that allows for easy integration of a customer-supplied Electric Vehicle. The system should allow for easy future expansion/scalable architecture upon securing of funding to further expand on the capabilities to provide a higher charging capacity. The scope of this proposal includes the required power units, dispensers, and all required electrical supply and installation. The proponent will be required to provide all information on the system interface and infrastructure requirements and provide support during the design and install of the required infrastructure. Concrete coring and non-destructive testing of existing concrete structure is excluded from the scope. However, coordination with the University will be required to facilitate this activity.
