Demolition, site work and new construction of a mixed-use development in Airdrie, Alberta. Completed plans call for the construction of a 85,000-square-foot, three-story above grade, one-story below grade library; and municipal facility.
The new Multi-Use Facility and Library is planned to be 60,000 SF with up to 25,000 SF of multi-use space with a projected construction budget of $47,000,000 excluding contingencies. The projected budget includes the construction of the new facility, including the fit-up of all spaces, as well as the demolition of the existing buildings on the site. In addition, all fees are to include the coordination of FF&E as well as any owner supplied materials.
