Site work and new construction of a mixed-use development in Port Alberni, British Columbia. Conceptual plans call for the construction of a industrial development.
Construction of a new container trans-shipment hub in Port Alberni. The facility will be a fully automated container terminal, able to efficiently handle any size vessel, including new Ultra Large Container Ships up to 22,000 TEUs. This project would create one of the largest container terminals in Canada. TIMELINE: Concept planning and project development stage is underway. Technical studies, economic analyses, engineering work, and stakeholder engagement have been completed or are ongoing to support future environmental review, funding applications, and investment decisions. The project continues to advance through collaboration with governments, Indigenous partners, industry and other stakeholders.
