Renovation and addition to an educational facility in Burnaby, British Columbia. Conceptual plans call for the addition of a educational facility; and for the renovation of a educational facility.
Construction of an expanded student learning centre and improved study spaces. Phase 1 of the project proposes construction of a three-storey, 3,630 SM addition that presents both near- and long-term opportunities. Serving as swing space, the addition will facilitate temporary decanting, to allow the library to remain operational with minimal disruption during phased renovations, upgrades, and remediation. TIMELINE: Conceptual planning is underway. The project is part of the owner's 2026/27 - 2030-31 Five Year Capital Plan and is dependent on funding being in place. Schedules may be confirmed once funding is in place. Further update in early 2027.
