Phase 2, includes: Level 3000, 2000 and 1000 of the Academic Quadrangle. The SFU Academic Quadrangle (AQ) is one of the original structures on the main campus and has a high degree of heritage value. Located at the heart of the Burnaby Campus it is a remarkable example of Canadian Post-War Brutalist Modernism, housing numerous academic and public spaces, connecting multiple buildings and resolving several significant elevation differences across the University's terraced landscape it is central to campus life. TIMELINE: Request for Proposal for architect/prime consultant services for AQ Renewal 2 was cancelled. Coverage is discontinued.
