Site work and new construction of a mixed-use development in Calgary, Alberta. Completed plans call for the construction of a 30,000-square-foot, one-story above grade clubhouse / community center; and one-story below grade, 107-space parking garage.
Construction of a western heritage centre on the north side of the Youth Campus. Building will include underground parking with 107 stalls. The SAM Centre will offer an immersive experience of the Calgary Stampede story fueled by technology, storytelling and 21st century progressive museum practices. This means co-creating community-facting programs, rich content development, and delivering an attraction that serves both our local markets and the travel tourism sector. SAM will meet the Calgary Stampede's global reputation for values-driven hospitality, through learning space, access to archives and collections, and active welcoming public spaces. TIMELINE: Building foundation work to commence by late 2022. Project is expected to be completed in late 2023. *Total project cost is $40 million.
