This project provides funding for improvements to the existing Boulware Park, conversion of the Birch Street property purchased by the City in FY 2019 into a park facility, and connecting the existing park to the Birch Street property by removing Ash Street and reconfiguring Chestnut Avenue. The park improvements include development of the existing Boulware Park and Birch Street property; installation of a new play structure; replacement of existing lighting, drinking fountains, benches, trash receptacles, and rubberized surfacing; accessibility upgrades; addition of a new restroom; new park facilities; and streets improvements. Project is included in the City of Palo Alto's FY 2023 - 2027 CIP. As of August 10, 2022, information regarding a design and a general contractor is not available.
