Site work and renovation of a water / sewer project in Fort Gratiot, Michigan. Working plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
As of August 12, 2021, the project is included in the FY2022-2026 CIP. The project is anticipated to be advertised to bid by the owner in the third quarter on 2021. Construction is anticipated to begin in FY2022. **The project has been canceled and will rebid at a later, undetermined date and time** The existing controls and instrumentation and related process equipment located at the Lake Huron Water Treatment Plant (LHWTP) are in need of replacement. The system includes a myriad of systems that are controlled via an existing Rockwell based PLC's system and many of the primary instruments and related controls components have served their useful life and are in need of replacement.
