Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Fort Gratiot, Michigan. Completed plans call for site work for a educational facility; sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.
The work consists of furnishing all labor, material, and equipment required for 28,708 SY of asphalt pavement crushing and shaping, 5,348 SY of asphalt pavement cold milling, 8,364 Tons of hot mix asphalt pavement placement, traffic control pavement markings, permanent traffic signage and incidental items related there to. Bids shall be on a unit price basis for items of work, as specified. Bids shall be submitted on the proposal forms provided by the Engineer. A Bid Bond in the form of a certified check, money order or a Bid Bond for a sum not less than five percent (5 percent) of the amount of the bid payable to Port Huron Area School District will be required with each bid. The right is reserved by OWNER to accept any Bid, to reject any Bid, and to waive irregularities in Bids. The successful bidder will be required to furnish satisfactory Performance, Labor and Materials bonds, Maintenance and Guarantee bonds, and insurance certificates. Bids may not be withdrawn for 60 days after receipt. All bids must be submitted on the Proposal Forms provided by the Engineer.
