Site work, paving and new construction of a civil project in Sioux City, Iowa. Conceptual plans call for site work for a water / sewer project; and for the construction of a water / sewer project.
This project provides for water utility improvements in the Southbridge Industrial Park to support its growth and the attraction of new industries to the area. This project also supports the infrastructure that will improve water service and reliability to the current industries. The addition of a 4th high service pump will take place in FY 2019. The currently identified projects are a loop of the current 16' water line in Port Neal Road, by adding a finished water line installed in 225th Street heading west to Allison Avenue and then heading South on Allison. This also includes the addition of a water tower in the Southbridge Industrial park area to provide fire protection and water reliability. The project is included in the city's 2023-2027 Capital Improvement Program (CIP).
