Site work, new construction and renovation of a mixed-use development in North Stonington, Connecticut. Completed plans call for the construction of a educational facility.
As of October 25, 2019, Wheeler Middle/ High School has opened the new building. Phase II, the renovation of North Stonington Elementary School, began in March 2019. Phase III, scheduled for the summer of 2019, comprises a roof replacement on the old high school, which will be the new home of the Central Administration and the Board of Education. Downes Construction requests that any interested party contact them for information.
